![]() Thanks for your awesome review about the Body Boss Nutrition guide! I’m on week 1 and I totally agree that all these recipes are super tasty. This nutrition guide really is my BFF – Best Foodie Friend. Both guides have the same cheeky, flirty and fun language that I love about BodyBoss. The BodyBoss Nutrition Guide is the perfect partner to the BodyBoss Fitness Guide. Come January I know I will be able to meal prep like a pro. Once I started meal-prepping I didn’t want to stop, haha. I felt a sense of accomplishment in the kitchen I have never felt before. Then, I prepped and cooked the items from Sunday’s To-Do list, namely the Carb-Free Eggy muffins, quinoa, and roasting 1 eggplant. I took my shopping list with me to the supermarket (the book is small enough to fit in most bags!) and bought what I needed to make Week One’s meals. Since I have never felt comfortable in the kitchen, I usually stick to making tried and true health meals, but they are very boring. This is the first time I attempted food prepping. The BodyBoss Superfood Nutrition Guide has nutrient-dense meals that will fuel your body with superfoods that will help you power through the high-intensity interval training (HIIT) BodyBoss workouts. Also, BBG was extremely harsh on my joints, and I eventually had to quit BBG. It had me eating such little quantities of food that I felt dizzy and light-headed during my grueling workouts. When I first started my fitness journey in September 2016, I was following another “nutrition guide” created by the author of BBG, another popular HIIT program, that was not very helpful. It has a super helpful glossary, called A-Z of the BodyBoss SuperFoods, dedicated to all the amazing superfoods used in the recipes. The very first book in the guide explains how to use the guide in addition to tips for success. ![]() The BodyBoss Superfood Nutrition Guide explains, in detail, all of the healthy benefits of superfoods. You know, all the good stuff we’re supposed to eat but usually have no clue how to make into delicious food. Superfoods are those with vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and phytonutrients. There is a reason BodyBoss called it the Superfood Nutrition Guide. ![]() Each day is structured with 3 meals and 2 snacks to help rev up your metabolism and help you power through your BodyBoss HIIT workouts. There are over 150 original recipes in the Nutrition Guide. The meals in the nutrition guide are all of the above, plus they’re tasty! Meal prepping is something that I have always wanted to try, but I never felt confident enough to plan meals that were nutritious or interesting (or varied) enough that I would stick with them. ![]()
